Martin Langford is the author of five poetry books, the most recent being Sensual Horizon (Five Islands, 2001). His most recent publication is Microtexts (Island, 2005) a book of aphorism and observation about poetics. The Shadow of the Ape, a Selected and New, will be published by Puncher and Wattmann late in 2008. He has directed the Australian Poetry Festival three times, and is currently the NSW Poetry Development Officer.

 

David Musgrave is a poet, critic and publisher whose first book, To Thalia, was published in the tenth Five Islands New poets series.

Ouyang Yu has published over forty books in the fields of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, literary criticism and literary translation since coming to Australia in 1991. He has just published On the Smell of An Oily Rag: speaking English, thinking Chinese and living Australian (Wakefield Press). Forthcoming are Representing the Other: Chinese in Australian Fiction: 1888–1988 (Cambria Press, USA) and his second novel, Loose: A Wild History (bluechrome publishing, UK).
