Nevill Drury is best known for his writing on the Western magical tradition, shamanism and various forms of alternative spirituality although he also worked as an art-book publisher for nearly twenty years. He is the author of over 60 titles published in 25 countries and received a PhD from the University of Newcastle in 2008 for a dissertation on the bohemian artist Rosaleen Norton. He is now a full-time writer and lecturer and lives on the NSW south coast.
